Job Introduction

Reporting to the Workshop Quality Manager you’ll work alongside the National Service Manager to create rich & innovative learning experiences, ensuring that the highest operational standards expected by MEP Hire are met & maintained.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design & deliver end-to-end service training to enhance the knowledge & ability of all MEP Hire staff for operational and behavioural development.
  • Work closely with National Service Manager to ensure unavailable MEP Assets are within acceptable levels and are being addressed within the agreed pre-set time frames
  • Carry out workshop and asset audits
  • Assess & support group apprentices
  • Facilitate management, leadership and behavioural events, maximising technology to do so virtually
  • Produce a blended learning portfolio of content to include such things as video, podcasts, micro-learning digital content, webinars and learning-lunches
  • Conduct fleet, personnel and branch investigations 
  • Supply technical support and demonstrations to the MEP Hire network & customers when required
  • Design & deliver product induction procedures
  • Assist & control MEP Hire branch stock usage
  • Work closely with National Service Manager to ensure that all MEP Workshops are operating to the required quality standards & levels
  • Travel regularly throughout the UK when required to carry out audits, training, investigations &technical support

  • Strong written & IT skills to produce session plans, digital storyboards and learning support materials
  • Proven research skills allowing for the discovery of best in class solutions
  • An ability to transform compliance matters and processes into exciting learning solutions
  • Knowledge of HSE & HAE regulations
  • Flexibility and ability to respond to duties which may fall outside your normal working hours
  • IPAF CAP & LEEA LEG or LMM Certificated (or the ability to achieve these within an agreed time period)
  • Relationship building and influencing skills for internal and external connections, including universities, colleges, training providers and associated organisations for apprenticeships
  • A valid driving licence
